Communication between parents and
teachers is vitally important. At Clifton State School, we have made it
possible to make contact with our teachers particularly accessible.
Regular, informal communication
is valued at the highest priority. Strong relationships between our families
and our teachers ensure positive interactions even at the toughest times. Our
teachers are always available for quick discussions.
Through the ClassDojo portal,
parents and teachers are able to communicate by messaging. Both the Class Story
and School Story in ClassDojo are filled with important day-to-day information,
including copies of letters home, class happenings, and reminders.
Through email, parents and
teachers can communicate to send home forms and letters, advise of absences, and
other communication.
Through parent-teacher
interviews, parents and teachers can communicate about each child’s progress
academically, socially, and mentally. Formal parent-teacher interviews are
offered at the end of Term 1 and the end of Term 3.
Through formal report cards,
teachers can communicate about each child’s academic progress. Report cards are
sent home at the end of Term 2 and the end of Term 4.
Our class teachers and support
teachers are always approachable at Clifton State School.
